Boys Of Summer

My last post motivated me to post more. So, I finally found the digital camera and posted some pictures of the boys doing summer stuff.

Brett got into the pool this year with some reservations. After he was in though, it was tough getting him out. Tristan is swimming like a fish of course. He loves for me to throw him as high as I can into the deep part of the pool. If he keeps growing like he is, I won't be able to throw him very high in a couple of years.

Long time... No post

If anyone has been coming by to check for new pictures, I send them my apologies.

Here's a list of excuses (kind of like a top ten, but you can pick your favorite to use if you like):

• My camera ran out of batteries, and I couldn't find a store that carried AA for the life of me.


• Blinda took the camera on her girls weekend trip, and won't let me have it back until she figures out how to delete pictures from the memory card.


• Brett put the camera in Macy's water dish


• My web server is full


• Brett has hit is terrible twos a full 10 months ahead of schedule


• Tristan decided to use the camera in an experiment involving dinosaur excavation, and I haven't seen it since


• I forgot my password on my computer


• Blinda told me that SHE was going to update the website


• I've had volleyball practices to go to every night for the past 6 months

Tristan's 8th Birthday Party

We had a blast at the party. It was held at a place called, "Let's Jump" in Watauga. This place is a kid's dream come true... a warehouse full of massive inflatable bounce houses. They had obstacle courses, massive slides, a dodgeball arena, and a king of the hill challenge. We wore ourselves out, and I took a lot of pictures

The boys and I were at McDonald's in the play area, and they have a sit down car racing video game. Brett got such a kick out of sitting at the wheel. I had to take a picture with my phone and post it on the web site. 

Decorating The Christmas Tree

Tristan did a wonderful job decorating the Christmas tree this year. Blinda and I only had to help a little bit. The pictures are here.
